human Osteopathy
Freya treats a wide range of people; from newborns to the elderly, acute to chronic musculoskeletal, and samoto-emotional (such as anxiety, fatigue, depression etc) conditions. Freya's method is craniosacral fascial osteopathy, which is gentle and very relaxing. Freya has an extensive background in sports injury and rehabilitation, offering taping services and rehabilitative exercise programs.
horse Osteopathy
Craniosacral fascial osteopathy combined with animal communication is a gentle holistic therapeutic modality which may address musculoskeletal and somato-emotional presentations. Freya is well known for her ability to treat difficult horses and she believes they should be able to move and express themselves during treatment. Freya also offers an extensive rehabilitative service involving exercise and rider tuition.
hound Osteopathy
Freya finds dogs are different to treat than humans and horses, in her experience she has found they require shorter treatments over one to two weeks. Her gentle approach of intuitive craniosacral fascial osteopathy and simple exercises has shown effective treatment for musculoskeletal and somato-emotional presentations.
MEDItation
Meditation at Symmetry In Motion will guide you on a relaxing and insightful meditative journey. These meditations are simple, safe and effective. An hour of gentle breathing, releasing and relaxation.
Freya has found clients have reported an increased sense of peace and insight when an animal is ‘invited into the meditation’. This is not a physical animal with you (though we can offer this). Humans often turn to animals for comfort and companionship, Freya feels that meditating ‘with’ them is part of perfect SYMMETRY for wellbeing.
Meditation has been shown to increase attention span, promote emotional health, reduce anxiety, control pain, improve sleep, decrease blood pressure, reduce ageing memory loss, and improve self-awareness.
