Freya is well known for her ability to treat difficult horses and she believes they should be able to move and express themselves during treatment. Freya also offers an extensive rehabilitative service involving exercise and rider tuition.

heart2heart meditation journey
Meditation at Symmetry In Motion will guide you on a relaxing and insightful meditative journey. These meditations are simple, safe and effective. An hour of gentle breathing, releasing and relaxation.
Freya has found clients have reported an increased sense of peace and insight when an animal is ‘invited into the meditation’. This is not a physical animal with you (though we can offer this). Humans often turn to animals for comfort and companionship, Freya feels that meditating ‘with’ them is part of perfect SYMMETRY for wellbeing.
Using this process, people have experienced profound changes in their relationship with the horse. Meditation has been shown to increase attention span, promote emotional health, reduce anxiety, control pain, improve sleep, decrease blood pressure, reduce ageing memory loss, and improve self-awareness.

Heart2heart EQUINE communication course
Soulful communication between yourself and your horse.
Heart to heart is finding your inner self to communicate to your horse's inner voice. Why heart to heart?
Freya is passionate about sharing the simplicity of being able to hear and listen to your horse. This communication may assist you in understanding what your horse needs to eat, why it displays certain behaviours, why you feel a sore back when you ride and so much more. Through this experience, we have found our relationships with horses have transformed.
These sessions are taught from the ground and then ridden with tailoring to suit you and your horse.
This form of Heart2Heart is about a small group of people getting together with Freya so she can share how easy it is for everyone to listen to their horse.

Heart2heart EQUINE: distance
Freya offers distance animal communication and healing with your horse. She will introduce herself to your horse and ask for permission to communicate and heal. She respectfully listens to your horse and communicates back honestly. The report is compiled of a thorough physical examination and healing, feed assessment, tack fit check and a general conversation.
Freya usually chats with your horse early in the morning or late at night when your horse is resting. After the report is sent, Freya is available for unlimited questions and communicating with you and your horse for two weeks. She has found that this allows the horse and the owner to clarify comments and gain in-depth perception. This chat is done by Facebook Messenger or Zoom.

Symmetry in Motion Equine TherapeutiCS
Effective, holistic musculo-skeletal analysis, hands-on techniques, and exercises to assist with equine body balance.
This course will give you the confidence to assess the horse quickly and treat the whole horse effectively. Feeling confident when treating the horse is very self-empowering. The bond with your horse will heighten, you can assess and maintain the horse yourself.
What to Expect:
- 3 hour hands-on workshop once a month for three months
- A workbook will be sent each week before each workshop
- 1 hour Zoom meeting after each workshop
- You are encouraged to bring the equine to receive a full treatment at each workshop

Dynamic rider
At Symmetry In Motion we take a scientific approach to equine rider fitness. The equestrian disciplines are dynamic sports. The equine is mobile underneath us and a sentient being, this must be taken into consideration with rider fitness.
Training with sport-specificity is well researched. At Symmetry In Motion, the rider dynamic class involves all of the aspects of a great rider. Riders must be elastic, stable, cardiovascular and ‘still in the mind’. As riders we must be at least as fit and well-trained as the equine.
Freya (Osteopath, Pilates, Horse Communicator/Healer, Rider) from Symmetry in Motion has assembled a 75-minute dynamic training class at the studio in Kumeu.

Heat & Vibration therapy
Equisolaire and Humming board is available for many equine conditions such as; muscular tension and pain, joints, core conditioning, general strength and rehabilitation, colic, abscesses and aids in hoof growth. Freya will design a vibration program and liaise with your equine health professionals.
